Dark black. Sweet. Almost under-fermented sweet. Cola. Claims to be full body, but is actually somewhat thin. Growler that was a wedding git from Joey. mR_fr0g (12067) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 13, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Black black coloured pour with a dark tan coloured head. Aroma is dark choc, roast, jammy fruits, dried plum. Flavour is composed of milky roasted grains. Some lactose sugars, burnt milk. Palate is semi sweet. Slightly creamy. Lingering burnt toffee. Gassy. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - AUG 19, 2015

"well rounded stout that borders on an american imperial. flavorful and aromatic, with lots of roasted coffee and a decent share of bitter hops. a solid entry." fiveacestx (970) - Texas, USA - JUL 7, 2014
On tap at the brewpub - dark with a beige head. Veeeeery silky, veeeeery smooth! Nice coffee aroma and taste. A wall of lacing all around the glass. Very nice!

A very good stout. Pours a deep black with a brown head. Smells slightly like cigar. Taste is very smooth and creamy, with some ice cream in the finish. Favorite from Triple Rock. Had on tap at the brewery.

A - Served a dark black color with a hint of brown and a finger of chocolate colored head. The head fades down slowly leaving behind some good lace.
S - Aroma is a mix of roasted and burnt chocolate malts with a touch of coffee and sweetness.
T - Starts off with some roasted and burnt chocolate malts and a touch of sweetness. Through the middle, some earthy hop flavors come through. The finish is a mix of burnt bitter chocolate malts with a bit of sweetness.
M - Medium-plus bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth and a touch creamy with a dry finish.
D - Very drinkable. Good roasted and burnt flavors with overall good balance. Nice dry finish. makyo (52) - Alabama, USA - MAR 27, 2012
On tap at Triple Rock in Berkeley. Great flavor though the aftertaste was a little light for my preference and for a stout. Less of a meal in a glass and more of a refreshing sweeter stout.

On tap (don’t remember it being on nitro, nor do I see that in my notes, but I could be wrong) at the brewpub. Pours with a deep brown to black body with a minimal tan head of bubbles that fades. Aromas are roasty, molasses, brown sugar, minimal esters, no hop aroma. Coffee, chocolate. Flavors of brown sugar, some estery notes, alcohol, and chocolate. Some higher alcohols noted. Medium to light bubbles. A bit of an earthiness in the finish. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 17, 2011
A: The pour is essentially black with a finger of creamy, tan colored head.
S: The nose is very roasty with plenty of coffee aromas to it. There’s some dark cocoa powder that is somewhat bitter and maybe even a touch of nuttiness to it.
T: A mild bitterness, some moderate chocolate notes, and a very heavy roasted malt component. There’s a touch of acidity to it, but it works out alright. Lots of coffee flavor, too.
M: The body is medium and the carbonation is smooth and low to medium.
D: I’d definitely have this beer again. Smooth and easy to drink, like the style should be.
