COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep dark brown-black in color, Stonehenge is a very full bodied, with a heavy roast aroma, (coffee like). Flavor is dominated by roasted barley and some chocolate malt. Oatmeal malt and nitrogen dispensing give it a smooth cascading ’shaving cream’ head. Previously at 7.6%

It has a great cherry undertone to cut the burnt toast of the malt. Great palate and appearance, great depth of flavor. Very well made.

Draft at the brewpub (7.6%). Aroma of dark toasted malt. Color is opaque black with a low tan head. Medium body with very mild carbonation. Quite smooth. The flavor is dark toasted, but not burnt, malt with a small sour undernote. There is bitter, but it is obscured by the toasted character. Very good stout.

Tasted at Triple Rock in Berkeley while back in SFBA area attending a conference. Appearance is dark black, very small tan coloured head. Sustained. Aroma has a creamy component with hints of coffee and roast bitterness. Flavour is balanced between the creamy coffee flavoured component coupled with the pleasant bitterness of the roasted malt component
