still a pale, just a stronger, hoppier version of pinnacle, with a different malt bill. pretty good. light even at this abv. very fresh cut hop/grassy aroma and flavor balanced with sweet malt. well done." monk191 (1976) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 6, 2013
A good, if slightly boring pale. Pounds an average clear orange. Smells slightly peachy. Taste is creamy, like the pinnacle, but a nicer aftertaste. Had on tap at the brewery.

On tap at Triple Rock poured a clear orange amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of bread, fruittiness and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, light citrus and light earthiness with a crisp lingering citrus finish. jackfrost9p (338) - California, USA - FEB 29, 2012
A decent beer, but I definitely prefer Triple Rock’s IPA. I felt it somewhat lacked in taste and on the palate. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 27, 2012
A - Served a clear golden-orange color wit ha finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down slowly leaving behind some nice lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of some light citrus hop with some sweet caramel malt and some graininess. A bit of breadiness as well with some fruity esters.
T - Starts out with some caramel and other sweet malts with a bit of citrus hops and bitterness. Through the middle, more sweet grainy malts come through with a bit of breadiness and a bit of fruity esters. The finish is a mix of a touch more bitterness, more sweet bready malts, and a bit of sugary sweetness.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth a sweet and moderately dry finish.
D - Very drinkable. Flavors feel just a bit off. The beer is a bit too malty and could have used a bit more hop presence to balance.

On tap. Aroma is of earthy, citrus hops. Flavor is well balanced malt and hops. Palate is OK, a little on the fizzy side. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 5, 2011
On tap at the source. Pours with a completely clear golden to copper body with a small white head that fades to a ring. Aromas are toasty, grainy, caramel, estery and lightly hoppy. Flavors are sweet, caramel, toasty, fruit esters, light hop flavors. Malty, basic. Medium bubbles, medium body, somewhat dry finish despite the sweet malt flavors up front. fidel (1302) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 24, 2011
Poured golden amber, balanced, caramel malts, piney and citrus hops, clean dry finish. AgentSteve (1647) - SF Bay Area, California, USA - FEB 22, 2011
Amber pour with a white head. Great lacing and head retention. Malt and fruit stand out with subtle citrus hops and a clean dry finish. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 17, 2011
