22 oz. bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar. Dark gold pour with a slight head, typical for a wheat beer. Aroma of wheat, orange peel, and coriander. Flavor is grainy, lightly sweet, medium bitter. Light to medium body, dry palate, clean finish. A good representation of the style, tending toward rich and grainy flavors for a witbier. Recommended. February 1st, 2013 - Triple Voodoo’s Witopia is a lot like a stateside Hoegaarden. The aroma is dry and wheaty, with just a touch of butter and esters, projecting some clove. What I don’t smell is the banana that often comes with American wits, which I like as far as a change of pace. There is some light custard to sweeten the scent of cracked wheat, but the aroma is definitively on the dry side - hence why it reminds me more of Hoegaarden than some of the sweeter, stickier tapioca scented wits one can get at the beer store. The taste exhibits a solid balance between a deep, rich breadiness, and notes of orange and orange juice. Like in the aroma, the flavor is mostly dry and grainy, and not too sweet. I deeply appreciate the restraint and would love to pair this against Hoegaarden to see where some subtle differences might come out. deekyn (1459) - San Francisco, California, USA - FEB 21, 2014
A - pours hazy golden copper with 2 finger head. Some sticky lacing. S - aromas of Belgian yeasts, wheat, orange zest, floral notes, coriander. M - fluffy carb and watery mf. Slippery sweet end. T - candied orange, Belgian yeasts and coriander lead the way. Soapy hoppy end. O - simple and a little to sweet. 3.1 thetmaxx (917) - West Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 28, 2013
Poured from the bomber for thanksgiving. Today I’m thankful for craft beer! Haven’t had a really good wit in a while. Nice orange and Clove aroma and flavour. Great beer! Strykzone (7307) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUL 18, 2013
Bomber from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. I rolled my bottle and there was lots of sediment. The beer is lemony looking and quite hazy. A very big white foam almost fills the glass and slowly falls. Light fluffy lacing. The aroma offers cloves and coriander. I also get a little lemon. Finally the foam subsided and the spices came through nicely. Later hop notes came in with citrus and perhaps some Noble notes. There is very little earth here and it is quite clean. Some yeast notes and just a bit of bret. A bit of a fizzy feel. I like it.

This was shared with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. This bomber poured a cloudy lemon yellow with an enormous white head and light lacing. Nose is coriander, clove, and some citrus. Medium to light in body. Flavor is lots of clove and coriander and the citrus hops hang in there. There is a dry and spicy finish. Really refreshing. Sort of a hefe on steroids. Very nice hot weather beer. . monk191 (1959) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 20, 2013
One of the best wit's I've had. Pours a cloudy green-yellow. Definitely fermented in the barrel. Smells great, wheat and lemon and something else. Taste is great. Reminds me of Chinese lemon chicken. Had at tap at the Bay Area Craft Beer Festival

This cloudy yellow beer has a nice citrusy aroma. It is crisp and refreshing and almost a little spicy.

Bomber poured a cloudy golden yellow with a lasting creamy off white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, light orange zest and light coriander. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, yeast, light orange zest and a hint of coriander with a smooth lingering yeasty finish. jazz88 (2677) - San Francisco, California, USA - FEB 6, 2013
Bottle. A light yellow golden color with a white head. It seemed a little off with a slight band aid flavor at the finish It lacked much of the delightful punch of this style that I was expecting
