Daft 12 oz pour at Triplehorn. Dark, clean copper pour. Aroma is complex. Plum, caramel, oak, a little hot too, but not much. Flavor is a caramel constant, but not rich. Oak heavy. I swear there is a bourbon note in here, despite not being the barrel aged version. Some bready malt lingering late. Dark fruit, more plum. Caramel finish. Solid winter strong here.
[email protected] Triplehorn. Hazy dark amber color with ivory head. Dark fruit, spicy belgian yeast, caramel, earthy sweet aromas. Smooth medium body. Sweet toasted caramel, dark fruits, spicy yeast, light mineral flavors----not bad.
