3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy med brown. No head. Mellow toasty brown ale, with low bitterness but also low sweetness...it’s a bit hollowed out.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Triplehorn, pours a dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and a touch of toasted nuts. Flavour brings out toasted nuts, earthy notes and chalk. Something doesn’t quite work here with that chalkiness. Needs tweaking.

Draft pour to a schooner at Triplehorn. Slight reddish brown pour with a thin film head. Very light brown ale here abv wise, but full of flavor. Doesn’t get any more brown ale than this. Moderate toasty malt aroma. Flavor is almost a smokey malt, toasty. Bold over sweet. Wood naturally. Cool, toasty finish. Very refreshing brown here. Slightly nutty. Good stuff.
