Hazy med brown. No head. Mellow toasty brown ale, with low bitterness but also low sweetness...it’s a bit hollowed out. mcberko (18095) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 28, 2017
On tap at Triplehorn, pours a dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and a touch of toasted nuts. Flavour brings out toasted nuts, earthy notes and chalk. Something doesn’t quite work here with that chalkiness. Needs tweaking. luttonm (6504) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 24, 2017
Triplehorn, Woodinville. Thin cream, dark clearish brown. Sweet malt, a little bitter. Creamy bitter. Pale dark malt. Solid brown. Clean, light sweetness. andrewje41 (4021) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - DEC 20, 2016
Draft pour to a schooner at Triplehorn. Slight reddish brown pour with a thin film head. Very light brown ale here abv wise, but full of flavor. Doesn’t get any more brown ale than this. Moderate toasty malt aroma. Flavor is almost a smokey malt, toasty. Bold over sweet. Wood naturally. Cool, toasty finish. Very refreshing brown here. Slightly nutty. Good stuff.
