On tap @ the brewery. Pours heavily clouded pale orange with thin head. Aroma is strong juicy citrus and melon. Taste is chewy sweet pale malts with lots of orange and bright citrus notes with little if any hops. Can’t say i know the blood orange taste all that well but it doesn’t stand out here. Certainly refreshing though a bit one dimensional.
Draft at sb. Pours a lightly hazy pale amber with golden edges. Loose white head. Slightly tangy wheaty nose. Fizzy light body. Brown bread crusts and slight wheat tang on the mid palate. Light finish.
Medium wheat malt, light citrus, mostly orange and lemon, soft ale yeast sweetness. Pours hazy yellow orange, thin white head. Flavors of wheat, cereal grain, soft lemon and orange, light fruity sweetness, crisp finish. Dry and moderately refreshing, light. Well done american wheat.
