COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Triporteur From Hell is a dark beer brewed with hellish burned and roasted BOM malt. The beer reminds us of chocolate, caramel, recently brewed coffee and freshly baked bread. The wheat malt in the unfiltered beer can cause a slight cloudiness. The taste of Hell keeps evolving in the bottle.

330ml Bottle - Dark brown with some red tinges and a tan head. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate in the aroma. Roasted, nutty and chocolatey taste with notes of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and chestnuts. Easy to drink and quite roasted compared to most dark Belgian ales.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, light brown, mostly lasting. Body is dark brown. Aroma is lightly malty (roasted grain, nuts, husks), lightly yeasty (basement), with notes of taffy and grape jelly. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, unclean, slightly husky. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Not quite as poor as the From Heaven, but still quite rough and clumsy. Ultimately another drain pour.

Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer is dark brown to black colored and pours a stable cream colored head, with nice carbonation. First thing well smelling the aroma is fresh baked bread, but also a nice sweetness of caramel and bitterness of cacao and coffee. A little stout like. The taste is light sweet and malty with caramel notes which evolvs into a nice bitterness with coffee and cacao notes. Well balance between aroma and taste. The finish is dry and light bitter. Very good brew

Aroma: Roasted malts, pepper, coffee.
Appearance: Pours black, with a slight maroon tinge. Light caramel head.
Taste: Malts, coffee, liquorice, hint of caramel.
Palate: Very bitter, with a minimal sweet aftertaste. Medium body. Light carbonation.
Overall: Not bad. In fact, its one of the better dark beers Ive had. I wouldnt hesitate trying this again, but I wont go out of my way to.

Bottle. Burnt copper pour with a 1 finger head that fades slowly to a thick ring. Aroma is very yeasty with some light caramel and dark fruit. Tastes a bit off. Might be an old bottle. Stale malt, light chocolate, dark bread, dark fruit. Awful aftertaste. This has to be an old bottle.
