Our flagship beer, and a true example of the style, the Railsplitter India Pale Ale (IPA) is a fresh golden brew with noticeable citrus and floral aromas balanced on a nice malty backbone with a dry finish.

Bottle. This beer is a beautiful deep copper color. Pours with a thick 1 finger head. Clear with light lacing on the glass as I drink it down. Aroma smells of orange juice and grapefruit. A touch grassy, probably from dry hopped cascades. Not all that strong and a bit 1 sided. As the beer warms I can pick up some toasted malt. Flavor is nicely balanced between hop flavor, malt, and bitterness. I get mostly caramel flavor from the malt but there is a certain "richness" in the background that I really like. Finishes with enough bitterness to clear the palate for the next sip while still being very drinkable. This is a really solid IPA. A bit maltier than a "west coast’ IPA so I probably won’t look for this much in the summer.

Pours a light amber with some cloudy yeast and produces a thick head with great retention. Big complex aromas of peach, caramel, pine, citrus. Flavors pine/citrus, peach, slight caramel. Medium to light bodied lightly sweet. A good upfront ipa.

What a nice surprise as we visited Indy and after an 8 plus hour drive this went down easily ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice tasting IPA that doesn't kill the palate. Aroma of yeast and fresh hops. Sweet citrusy hop flavor with just a mild to moderate bite. Caramel color and malt flavor. A nice IPA. Tasted in Indianapolis. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

six pack from Whole foods. I especially like the style with a lot of malt character and this has it. Frothy head and rich amber color. good body for an IPA and enough hops to satisfy

HoppyScallywag (339) - Butler, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2016
Nice floral, hop aroma. Subtle malts and hoppy goodness on the initial taste with the dry hops finishing it off. Borderline too dry of a hop but still really good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2016 Bottle. Very hoppy and pine like aroma. Tastes of hop, citrus and 2x4. Not the greatest IPA but it’s not the worst.

355ml bottle. Gold pour, foamy head. Amells pretty nice actually a departure form the other crap this brewery puts out. Citrus and a hint of toasted caramel malt. Flavor is earthy caramel malt and a good hop presence. This is okay, whatever.

Nice gummy aroma, some pineapple. Taste is pine tar, crackery biscuit, and pineapple.
