Nose is light fruts and some spicy mustiness. Flavor is some fruits and spice that turns very tart, dry, and nearing sour. Not much malt going on. This didnt do it for me.

Color is dark orange, but not quite to copper. Yeast and orange dominate the aroma. Sweet malt with a toasted background. That pleasant funk from Belgian yeast. Its almost like orange butterscotch. Hops only show up in the dry, slightly bitter finish. This doesnt have great reviews elsewhere, but Im baffled. I think its delicious.

12oz bottle in a Trappist glass. Pours amber/copper with a beige head. Aroma of pale malts, light hops, and a weird spiciness/barnyard note. Flavor the same with a weird almost sour in a bad way finish. Average texture. Not great, maybe a bad bottle.

An interesting beer; not something I'd usually drink. A drinkable pale ale, with the familiar smells and tastes of Belgian beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a moderate white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, nuts, and grain. Flavor of citrus, toasted grain, caramel, light butter, and nuts with a subtle medicinal finish.

Pour from a bottle is rather viscous. Sediment. Orange with brown hue. Big ale impressions. Must be quite high in abv. Mild volatile smell. Decent co2, surprizing, but fades. Finish is medicinal linger.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a cloudy golden orange with fluffy off-white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells sweet with a heavy Belgian yeast presence along with some hops. Tastes like it smells, but less pleasant, with a below average mouthfeel. Glad I didnt buy a glass of this.

Apparently his beer shows better on draft Han in the bottle. I had a draft at Flipdaddys. nose o typical Belgian bubble gum, banana, pear and malt. Taste similar with a stronger malt backbone.

Bottle: Not to much to add that others have not said already. 1st: it doesnt come off very Belgian like, missing the earthiness and spicy notes of the yeast. 2nd: I too got a infected bottle that is full of vinegar like tartness and thin body. After getting a touch of infection in the stout and amber it seems Triton has some QC issues with the bottling line. Drain Pour!

This has the same weirdness as some other Triton beers Ive tried, in that it has a slightly tart/vinegary taste at the end. Maybe just no one in town stocks fresh enough six packs of this stuff? Not terrible but when you drink a second one the tartness starts getting annoying.
