COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This special India Pale Ale was first brewed in honor of Princeton University's 250th anniversary and Triumph Brewing Company's first. It's a crisp, hoppy, high gravity ale. The high hopping rate and hefty alcohol content, once used to preserve this ale on the long ocean voyage to India, now provide it with a distinct aroma and robust flavor.

Tasted: On Tap @ Triumph Brewing Company Phila, Pa. Aroma of caramel malt and spicy hops. Reading the description of dry hops expected more of a hop nose. Aroma of an ipa NOT dry hopped. Heavy bitterness of flavor. Caramel malt and citrus/ spicy hops. Amber color with thick frothy head. An average ipa not well balanced.

I had it on tap at Triumph. It pours a cloudy copper color with a decent off-white head and lacing. The aroma is hops, citrus, caramel, and bread. The taste is citrus, hops, toast, and caramel. Theres nice carbonation to it. I thought this was a a nice IPA. It doesnt rely too heavily on the hops.

A bland and forgettable pale that is neither good nor bad. I forgot it thirty seconds before I finished drinking it.

See through gold, small white head. Nose has bits of citrus, wheat, grass, floral and obvious hop. A bit more hoppy than most IPAs. Citrus/pine hop taste. Once again, it is clean. Enjoy Triumph for that treat. Could use a bit more bite with the alcohol. Hoppy finish.
