Tap at Philly brewpub. Clear amber/orange with a smallish head. Taste was caramel malts, brown sugar and some cherry and plum fruits. Spicy hops seemed to really pick this beer up. I thought the alcohol was well hidden, but some people (like the bartender) disagreed. Still, it’s a winner. hopdog (12565) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 2, 2007
On tap at the Downtown Philly location. Poured a deep golden color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of bread, toasted malts, and fruity. Tastes of fruitiness, toasted bread, and caramel. Light alcohol in the finish. JB175 (1665) - Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 29, 2007
On tap at the Philly location. Nice amber-gold color with a medium head. Aroma is a nice sweet toasty-malt that has some light fruit in there. Flavor is a sweet, bready, fruit mix with a bit of hops in there. Nice feel. Pretty good D-Bock. keepersj12 (3117) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - NOV 21, 2007

gabf 06. hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet and light fruit, taste is the same with a clean finish, pretty interesting. richlikebeer (838) - Easton, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 30, 2005
From the New Hope location, and orange colored hazy appearance, nice malt aroma, flavor was very full, with the hops and malts each coming through at different times. Aftertaste was a little more bitter than I expected, and that stayed on your tounge far a while. Cornboy (424) - Eastampton, New Jersey, USA - MAY 3, 2004
Congrats on 1000!! (I know its late, just reviewing my notes)
I didnt realize how much I liked blondes until now :)
Yellow-orange in color, more on the yellow side.
Slight hints of honeysuckle.
The alcohol is dangerous, sneaks in at the finish. Great beer. NJBeerman013 (1054) - Hamilton Twp., New Jersey, USA - FEB 11, 2004
Had this at the New Hope brewery. Great band that night too. Rock Hall. A very good brew. Deceptively malty, with just a touch of hops. Golden yellow in color with a sluffy foamy head. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - FEB 7, 2004
