American brewers have developed many new beer styles in the past twenty years, but none is more popular than the American Pale Ale. Ours has a firm malty foundation with plenty of hop flavor and aroma on tap.

From the hand pump poured a copper color with a good amount of head. Hoppy flavor with a lingering finish.

I’m really baffled by the high ratings of Triumph’s beers. On tap at New hope. Again another watery, soapy beer that has very little flavor. The place is nice and the brewer loves what he does , but thheir beers all have the same watery, soapy taste.

Pours a brownish amber. Flavor is earthy sweet. Meaty hops and pine attributes abound. The info cars says that it’s brewed in a Pac-North style and it shows I think. Feel is good. Drinkability is good. A bit of a hophead type of beer. With so many of this style out there, and the more I try, the competition is tough, but this one holds some ground.

Tap @ Triumph Philly. Poured a clear copper color with a white head. Earthy and sweaty hops made up the aroma. The flavor had a caramel malt start then a fairly large amount of hops in the middle. The caramel came back at the finish along with a mild bitterness.

NJBeerman013 (1054) - Hamilton Twp., New Jersey, USA - AUG 11, 2007
Draft at the new Philly location. Deep amber in color, hoppy, malty. Everything a solid American Pale should be. I dig it.

Zeswaft (1775) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 23, 2007

jcwattsrugger (12507) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 21, 2007
on tap-pours a full creamy off white head and slightly hazy gold color. Aroma is nice citrus/pine-hops, some malt. Taste is nice citrus/pine/resiny-hops, some malt.

adrian910ss (2588) - Doylestown, PA, USA - JUN 9, 2007
On draft at the New Hope brewery. Pours a semi-clear orange gold with a medium white head. Aroma of faint orange peel and grapefruit. Taste is similar to the aroma, hoppy with orange peel and grapefruit hints. Citrusy aftertaste. Average.

MrBendo (1064) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - MAY 18, 2007
Draft at Philly. Clear orange with a large head. Aroma of pine and floral hops and a fair amount of caramel malt. Well balanced and drinkable!
