Draft at Princeton. Pours out dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is of rich dark chocolate, light roast and some lingering sweetness. Taste is chocolate, mild roast, light coffee, slight hop bitterness and some more rich chocolate. Solid Drake (14059) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 12, 2012
Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a very dark brown color with a large brown head. Decent head retention. Aroma of rich chocolate, nuts, strong herbal hops. The taste is sweet malts, chocolate, roasted finished and an almost ashy note. Medium bodied. Decent. dmac (6429) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - SEP 2, 2011
Draught at Princeton. Poured a nice looking black body with dark ruby/brown edges and a medium sized foamy beige head. Aroma was the best part about this beer with notes of chocolate flavored tobacco, chocolate milk foam, and espresso beans. The body was to thin for a stout and the carbonation was to strong. Flavor was a gian step back from the aroma, notes of burnt malts, old tootsie roll choclate, hint of old espresso beans and some wet citrusy hops. This was okay but the aroma made me wish it was much more. TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 12, 2011
On tap at the Princeton locale. Dark brown with a beige head. Nose is coffee and faint chocolate. Medium light with soft carb. Taste is bittersweet chocolate with a touch of smoke. A sessionable stout with a touch of sweetness. Pretty good but not really desserty.
