on tap @Garden State Beerfest-pours a thin to patchy white head with yellow color. Aroma is faint light grain, spice hops. Taste is light malt that dominates, then some spice/perfumy/continental hops. Easy drinking. OK/mild carbonataion. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - SEP 29, 2006
gabf 06. straw color. Aroma is slightly spicy and of sweet malt. Taste is sweet malt and spicy hops up front with a crisp dry finish. AdamSkillin (376) - High Bridge, New Jersey, USA - FEB 4, 2006
Darker yellow than style typically suggests, skunky hop bitterness, a little on the sweet side, not a great effort. Jine (903) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - FEB 3, 2006
2/1/06. New Hope. I was told "this is not a czech pilsener" by someone who apparently has been there many times, and is also crazy. Not so bad. Some of the Saaz poking up. Decent pils, though maybe not a CZECH pils. Czech yo’ self before you Wrech yo’ self Cornboy (424) - Eastampton, New Jersey, USA - JAN 3, 2006
Sweet malts come through in the nose with the saaz hops pushing their way up as you take your first sip. Very light body midway through with a little spicy / bitter finish adding to the dryness.
One of the first pilseners I have ever appreciated.

Lasting large white head covers the clear golden hue. Subtle hallertauer nose comes out fully floral, lemony and honeysuckle reminiscent. The underneath maltiness is at its softest, grassy, well attenuated. Palate is light-medium, with crisp biting small bubbles adding some life. Very competent and refreshing dry example. I was underwhelmed. Flavor just wasn’t there. Light-bodied with a bit of hops. I switched to their excellent coffee and cream stout for my next one. willblake (2654) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - JUN 25, 2004
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2004 06.25.04 Princeton. Smells light and sweet, lightly flowery citrus and other lovely hops, banana(? must be that Triumph yeast again). Good pils flavors, not amazing but solid. Looking for that pils bite, but never find it. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - JUN 9, 2004
On Tap at brewpub in New Hope. Cloudy orange in color. Slight hop character. Ok beer. Malty flavor and some hops. Some tartness but not crisp enough. MaiBockAddict (1497) - Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA - JUN 6, 2004
Tap at New Hope PA, and I am guessing at the type of pils. Slightly cloudy orangish yellow. Sulfury slight hop aroma. Flavor of malt and some hops that I guessed to be Saaz while drinking. I got some tartness in the flavor and did not judge this to be crisp enough.
