I had it on tap. It pours golden with a fluffy, white head and lacing. There was almost no aroma. There were some hints of bread. The taste was grain, cereal, hops and biscuit. This was more flavorful than your average beer of the style. The sweetness and bitterness were both subtle. This was good. conway (2210) - - SEP 15, 2012
On tap at the brewery. Dark gold with no head. Nice full palate with good malt flavor.

Draught at Princeton. Poured a super light straw body with lots of rising effervescence and a bright white foamy head. Aroma is subtle with notes of honey topped bread, and fresh green hops, Saaz I’m thinking, why I don’t know I don’t really know my hops. Medium bodied with crisp carbonation that is on the strong side and a quick fading aftertaste. Flavor of cereal, grains, hops and a hint o green grape fruit. This was okay but that’s about it. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 29, 2011
(Draught) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a medium dense white head. Aroma of lemon, mustiness, and grass. Flavor of grass, lemon peel, cereal, and grain with a crisp, long lasting bitter finish. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2011
This poured a nice clear straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma was of light plae malt and cracker, light must grassy hops too. Flavor is a bit better than the aroma. Nice crisp clean light bittering hops and pale mout.h Very clean, but lacking a punch.

Tap at Triumph in Philly for RBSG 2011. The pour is a clear yellow with a medium white head and full, sticky, sheety white lace. Taste is very tart with massive sourdough bread and lemon before you get a huge Saaz hop detonation with no nasty soapiness that usually comes with the style. Very clean palate with fresh sourdough and lemongrass. Ends oatmeal heavy and raw grain with artisanal sourdough. An incredible pilsener made in the heart of pilsener country. yespr (45702) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 7, 2011
From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild grassy and malty. Medium dry malty and slight grassy. Subdued bitterness. Ends medium dry and slight grassy. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - JUN 3, 2011
Clean lemon and crisp malt nose. The taste is fairly dry, lightly buttery with lots of fresh grassy hops, crackery malts, light lemon and a touch of hay. Long bitter finish. mike67 (1213) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 2, 2011
Samples at the Triumph. Pours clear deep golden hue with a lively carbonation. Aroma is of mostly herbal hops with some malt in the background. The body is medium and crisp. Flavors are of mostly bitter hops overpowering biscuit malt. Long, bitter finish. Nicely made Pilsener. BillKismet (4072) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 15, 2011
Crystal blonde with a decent head. Soft, hazy malted nose with light graininess. Grainy body with a pleasant tannic, sour-bitter finish. One of the better German pils examples out there.
