Sample at the Philly brewpub. Pours a fairly clean gold with thin white head and moderate lace. Nose of ginger, grain, oats, bread. Somewhat creamy in the mouthfeel. Nice ginger flavor. I could probably have a couple of these. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 3, 2013
A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a grainy malt with light orange and ginger, a bit off. In mouth, a light sweet fruity malt with ginger and orange, minerals, watery and boring. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 13, 2013
Pours a clear pale yellow with a medium creamy white head...great lacing. Aroma is like plain oatmeal with just a hint of candied ginger. Flavor has nice light notes of ginger...notable breadiness and oatmeal...malty and mild. Mouthfeel is light/medium and creamy with a lightly ginger/spicy and malty finish. Very easy and drinkable. closey22 (2032) - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA - APR 7, 2013
At Philly. On nitro. Very pale slightly hazy yellow with lasting foamy lacy head; slight aroma of fresh ginger; Flava is light grain with ginger notes finishing with more pronounced malt bitterness a la pilsner; feels smooth creamy yet crisp and clean; very refreshing , top notch summer beer.
