Growler shared by willblake at BCTC. Poured hazy orange in color with a small white head. Aroma of coriander, fruity esters, cloves, and wheat. Tastes of coriander, tropical fruits, cloves, with a bit of mild saltiness. Very drinkable and refreshing. Only my 2nd Gose, but for the style, I enjoyed it. egajdzis (6730) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2008
Poured a murky golden yellow color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana, clove, wheat, and a bit of citrus. Taste of more banana, clove, tart citrus fruits, grains, and a faint gritty saltiness in the finish. Thanks to willblake for sharing! argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 28, 2008
(growler, thanks willblake) Cloudy lemon yellow body with small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, banana, some clove. Taste is medium sweet, lemon, banana. Creamy light-medium body, light acidity. JoeMcPhee (9549) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 25, 2008
Growler courtesy of beastiefan2k via puzzl. Very hazy/cloudy appearance within a deep yellow beer topped by a thick sticky white head. Aroma is quite rich and sweet, marshmallow, clove and banana with an unusually sweet wheaty aroma. Unctuous mouthfeel... really creamy and silky. Coats the mouth in thick bready wheatiness which is then quickly cleaned away by a soft lactic/citrusy tartness on the back of the palate. Sweet and just lightly salty which seems to amplify the wheaty/spicy flavour. Very juicy and rich. Really great tasting brew. It has a definite hefeweizen quality to it, but it’s also got it’s own unique sort of thing going on as well. Very yeasty, wheaty and fruity. Really tasty brew. puzzl (3264) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 21, 2008
Growler shared with Joe provided by Eugene. Beautiful pour, extremely cloudy yellow-gold with a nice head. Lots of yeast still sitting on the bottom of the growler. The aroma hits you up front with a tangy saltiness, oregano, and bright clove and hefe flavors. Muddy, thick body with a wheaty, yeasty flavor that has a touch of tartness. The salt may not be actually tastable (its questionable) but it does seem to cut the flavor in a way. Very unique, very tasty stuff.

On tap at Princeton. Very hazy (almost opaque) blonde in color with a medium large white head. Very nice aroma: banana, wheat, coriander, light salt, and a touch of honey. Taste: banana, with bread and yeast, salt, tangy wheat, and light notes of citrus and coriander. Medium bodied, all aspects of this seem well integrated and bright. This is my first Gose, and I thought it was awesome. lemasney (398) - Trenton, New Jersey, USA - JUL 18, 2008
RateBeer Rating, Style and Glass: not enough ratings (I’m #8) traditional ale, mug, pint, stein, yard
ABV, Volume & Calories: 5.1 % in 16 fl oz. estimated at 175 C
Purchased at: on tap at Triumph in Princeton for $5 with good friend Sean Piotrowski after his last day at Rider.
Aroma: fruity, banana, alluring. 9 out of 10.
Visuals: cloudy, dense, yellow, white persistent head, nice lacing. 5 out of 5.
Taste: sweet, banana, citrus, orange. 9 out of 10.
Palate: salty, granular, strong finish. 4 out of 5.
Overall: It was essentially a hefeweizen, but a very nice, slightly stylized rendition. Second only to their IPA, IMO. A very well crafted ale. 18 out of 20.

Thanks a ton to dickinsonbeer on thinking of me on this gem! Pours opaque amber with a nice white head. Smells of mineral water, bananas, coriander, some sweet malt, touches of yeast. Tastes lactic and sweet citrissy with some tarte hints, some doughy touches, and a hint of sourness on the finish. Very enjoyable! TURDFERGUSON (4068) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUL 15, 2008
Growler, shared by willblake, not dickinosbeer. I’m pretty sure. Thanks Jon. This was really tasty. Very fresh tasting with notes of floral and citrus, a little salt, and some nice wheat. One of my favorites (and it seems others agree) of the weekend. wilkie (1208) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUL 14, 2008
