A lot like the other pale ale but I liked it slightly more. Still just a typical old school brewpub pale in a world with Tree House and Trillium.

On tap at Triumph. Pours a clear orange amber with medium sized white head. Light malt and toast on the nose, very faint hops in the background. Sweet malt, a touch of caramel, sweeter than the Simcoe IPA they had up, more subtlety to the hops. Sweet and malty, toast and then a nice bitter quinine note comes in. Too sweet for me I think, but nice and easy drinking and not over the top.

Tap in Philly. Pours orangey with a bright white stable head. Nose is sweet, east coast ipa feeling here. Taste is sweet with citrus, bitter pine, ok.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2009 Draft at Olde City location. Pours amber orange with a thin off white head. The aroma has grassy and citric hops, with a bit of sweet malts. The flavor has sweet malt, lemony citrus, and some floral and grassy notes. Decent, but not an impressive IPA.
