Wheat citrus hop and malt aroma. Flavorful punch. Mainly citrus but it is balanced by the yeast and malt. A self sustaining kolsch. Earthy and such. Lemony too. yespr (45709) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2014

Sampled at the Newtown Brewfest 07 with Stegosaurus. Golden pour with a yeasty hoppy aroma. The mouthfeel was good with pretty much the same tastes as the aromas but it was blended rather well ans quite enjoyable. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2007
Draft sample, KSBF 2007. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body under a one finger plus white foamy head. Aroma is bready malt with a nice subtle german hoppiness. The flavor is the same bready and crackery maltiness with a very soft yeastiness and crisp hoppy finish. Mouthfeel was light bodied and soft with gentle carbonation. As fine as any Kölsch you’ll ever come across in the US. It might have helped that this was a fresh sample from draft as opposed to the mainly bottled examples I’ve had. It’s probably blasphemy to bottle any examples of this style, really. User37895 (3042) - - OCT 12, 2007
KSBF07, pour was golden with ample carbonation, nice initial head, though quickly subsided. The aroma was bready biscuity with some notes of honey. The flavor followed suit, grainy bready malts with honey faintly behind it all and a dry lightly hopped (faint grass) finish. Unfortunately, this was a little on the watery side in flavor and mouthfeel. Competent, yet had many better takes on the style in Koln.
