On tap at the brewery. Black with no head. Aroma is a little weak. Cinnamon comes through with a toasty finish. Vanilla and molasses not as present.

Pours black with little head. Slight oat and choc aroma. Taste is sweet, smokey, chocolate, oats. Heavy in the mouth, lactose creaminess. Roasted finish. can8ianben (1561) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 3, 2012
I don’t remember much about this one. Had on tap at the Princeton brewpub in my sampler. Don’t remember much taste reminding me of a cookie, but the oatmeal mouthfeel was present. Leafs93 (2305) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 5, 2012
Pours deep dark brown with a creamy off white head. Aroma is oatmeal cookie, roast, dark chocolate and some coffee. Taste is sweet with roasty undertones. This was one of the best brews I’ve had at Triumph, very solid.

Pours brown-black with a thick creamy tan head. Smell and taste ,is fairly standard for a stout, nothing special to note. Mildly sweet. No noticable vanilla or cinnamon

On draft in New Hope. Pours a dark brown with mahogany red tints and a creamy medium sized beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, toothpaste and oatmeal cookies. Taste is much the same as the aroma. Beerapprentice (208) - Doylestown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 17, 2009
On draft at Triumph Brewery in New Hope (don’t forget to pay for parking at this location). Pours a black colour with muddy brown undertones and striations when poured from the tap. Has a frothy, milky, cream coloured head. Almost like cappuccino. The head lasts and lasts. Aroma of malts and not anything else that I can detect. It’s called oatmeal cookie stout but it’s not sweet. There’s a hint of oatmeal flavoring but there’s nothing cookie-like about it. Pretty good though.

POURS NICE AND DARK WITH VIRTUALLY NO HEAD. TASTE ALMOST LIKE LIQUID DESSERT. YOU CAN TASTE CHOCOLATE AND COFFEE MALTS. IT HAS A VERY SWEET PLEASANT AFTERTASTE. IT SMELLS LIKE A SWEET COOKIE BEING BAKED IN THE OVEN MMM DELICIOUS. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 21, 2009
Nitro at New Hope. Pours a nice deep dark brown almost black with a really nice lasting creamy tan head- sick lace. Aroma is of moderate cinnamon, caramel, toasted malts, good chocolate malt- and some weird coconut thing going on which was cool. Good amount of sweetness in the flavor from the lactose but not overdone- some creamy doughy oatmeal, chocolate malts, light roast, more cinnamon and spice- hints of nutmeg as well and a bit more coconut and some sweet toffee caramel in the finish. Pretty smooth overall. dmac (6392) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JAN 19, 2009
Nitro draught at the New Hope location. Talk about a homerun, wow was I impressed by this original beer. Poured with a deep dark brown body and an extra large nitro thick creamy head that just wouldn’t die down. Aroma was a bit subdued and only hinted at the wonderful cookie flavor hidden beneath. Taking your first sip of this you would swear that you are biting into a cookie complete with hints of vanilla, cinnamon, oatmeal and even a touch of raisin. While this beer has some mild sweetness about it from the vanilla, sugar, molasses and cinnamon it’s incredibley balanced and not over the top. Sadly this was on nitro so I couldn’t grab any growlers of this delicious treat to bring home.
