On tap at the New Hope location. Pours a deep brown bordering on black with an average bubbly/foamy light tan head that left lacing all down the glass. Aroma was on the light side with hints of chocolate and roasted malts. Flavor of chocolate, some bitter coffee with lots of cream, roasty malts, oatmeal smoothness, lactose, nice hop bitterness but still on the thin side. Went nicely with the desert we ordered. smartlung (159) - Valrico, Florida, USA - JAN 27, 2007
on tap in Princeton, dark brown, decent head, roasted, chocolate coffee. Pretty smooth and creamy - enjoyed this one

This was the jewel on my first visit to princeton location. Perfect sugar milked coffee, just the way I’d make a coffee to my taste. Lasting tan head over black beer. Perfect chocolate coffee mousse flavor. Smooth palate, relatively light. Quality stout. illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 28, 2006
Cask at Princeton.Pours black with tan head. Aroma of dark roast and chocolate. Subtle flavors of dark roasted malts, coffee, bakers chocolate. Very soft carbonations. Slight dryness on the smooth and slightly creamy finish. Solid and easy to drink. scraff (2121) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 25, 2006
Pitch black, tan creamy head. Nose held notes of sweet roasted coffee, cream, dark chocolate, toast, and hints of smoke. Flavor is quite similar with just a hint of chalkiness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and very smooth, roasty finish. Well done stout...

New Hope. Very nice deep dark brownish black with a creamy nitro head. Aroma is chocolate, light coffee, sweet caramel and nutty. Flavor is nice and full despite the nitro pour, and is loaded with chocolate malts and roasted barley. Some mild sweetness throughout and finishes with a nice creamy slightly bitter finish. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 14, 2006

On tap at the Triumph Brew Pub in New Hope. Poured a dark, dark brown with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, and some coffee. Tastes of chocolate, coffee, oats, and roast. Smooth and creamy body. jdjuice (500) - Kumamoto, JAPAN - FEB 4, 2006
Princeton. Triumph’s stouts are always very similar, this one tastes very much like the two other stouts of theirs I’ve had except with a little bit of oatmeal wineyness added. Not as pronounced as I’d like, and the mouthfeel was a bit lacking, a little too thin. Probiere (992) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 31, 2006
Slight licorice berry-ness, some chocolate, raspberry? cream sweetness, oatmeal silkiness, medium body, coffee again at the finish. Very well done.
