Growler from the Princeton location shared at Moosetoberfest. Pours adeep reddish/brown with an average sized fizzy light beige head. Aroma of grains, bread, citrus and slight spice. Very bubbly and lively carbonation over a medium body and a very creamy finish. Flavor of brown crusty bread, grains, spice, and slight citrus. Not bad but far to creamy on the finish. Pours a deep crimson color with a medium to small head. Aroma is rosty and grainy malt with some caramel and some noble hops. The flavor has some roasted nuts and some herbal bitterness, very dry and very tasty. DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 25, 2009

On tap at the Philadelphia location. Pours a brilliant sienna-orange, with a tall finger of tan foam. Sweet grain sugar nose, fresh baguette crush and some pumpkin seed. Flavor is rather bland. Some generic Munich malt, a bit of toast, and some light hops. Really generic and blandish. Dry and crisp. Not the sweetness, malt character or expressiveness I’m looking for. Drinkable, but plain.

On tap at KSBF 08- Good clear amber with a decent foam head. Hops and a grain malt body. There was a slight spicy hop bitterness that was a little bit off for me. Otherwise good beer. bp (922) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 5, 2008
