On tap at the Lehigh Valley Brew Fest ’04. Poured a medium orange color with a small off white head. Aroma and tastes of malts, toffee, and bread. Maybe I’m just bored of Oktobefests now, but this seems like every other one I’ve had lately (not bad, but nothing too special).

Grapefruit and peach pits stick to the caramel malts. Fresh fruity pulp is present, but nothing special to distract you from daydreaming.
Light peachiness accompanies the nameless hop presence. Well-made malt structure doesn’t yield much to talk about in this easy to down pint.
The football game is on I think.
Draft. Pours golden amber with an off white head. Toasty aroma with lightly sweet malts. The flavor is clean and clear, with toast, bread, and toffee. Nice. Braudog (6716) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - NOV 12, 2007
Draft pint at the Philadelphia brewpub. Reddish amber with a thin gluey head. Classical middle-of-the-road caramel malt. Medium hop tingle. Nicely balanced, but just an average O-fest. (#3183, 11/8/2007) Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 21, 2008
Growler courtesy of JB175. Pours copper with a reddish tint and a nice sustained white head. Smells of caramel, dough, wildflowers, light tea. Tastes spicy and lightly bitter with a touch of citrus and a dry malty finish.
