Draft in New Hope. Not a bad beer by any standards but I think most brewers try to copy somebody else’s Oktoberfests because this tastes like everyone elses Oktoberfest. Strikingly grainy nose, remotely bready and toasty as well, but the graininess does not have the usual freshness I associate with vienna malts and thus contrasts more than complement the rather hoppy nature, mostly focusing on bitterness than finishing aromas.
