On tap at KSBF ’08. Clear amber with a big foamy head. Spicy noble hops were very present in both the nose and flavor. Some bready malt present as well. Decent but a good example why more hops aren’t always needed. dmac (6591) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - OCT 24, 2009
Growler from the Princeton location shared at Moosetoberfest. Pours adeep reddish/brown with an average sized fizzy light beige head. Aroma of grains, bread, citrus and slight spice. Very bubbly and lively carbonation over a medium body and a very creamy finish. Flavor of brown crusty bread, grains, spice, and slight citrus. Not bad but far to creamy on the finish. Clear, amber/orange color, with minimal head. Somewhat smoky flavor. Bitter & astringent. Braudog (6906) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - NOV 12, 2007
Draft pint at the Philadelphia brewpub. Reddish amber with a thin gluey head. Classical middle-of-the-road caramel malt. Medium hop tingle. Nicely balanced, but just an average O-fest. (#3183, 11/8/2007) BeerGestapo (754) - Mt.Joy, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 25, 2008

Tap at the brewery. Amber color with a thin white head. Completely lacking of aroma. Another choppy beer that has flavors but they don’t flow together well. Taste is wet hair, bitter hop oils, and white bread. Moderately thin palate. Beerdedone (3480) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 1, 2006
On draft at the Newtown Brewfest with Stegosaurus and The Mad Indian. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hops, and citrus. The flavor is caramel, slightly spiced, and finishes mildly bitter. bp (924) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 5, 2008
Draft at the Philly location: pours a dark amber with a white foamy head, aroma of spices, taste is malty with a little spice. Not bad. TheCaptain (613) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 13, 2008
On tap at KSBF 08- Good clear amber with a decent foam head. Hops and a grain malt body. There was a slight spicy hop bitterness that was a little bit off for me. Otherwise good beer. tsarman (794) - Northern, New Jersey, USA - OCT 9, 2004
For an Oktoberfest, it was ok. Not as sweet as I was expecting. The carbonation was a little harsh. Could have been better.
