3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Sippin by the River ’05. These guys make a lot of good an interesting beers. The octoberfest is true to the style: big malt, clean fermentation, fresh.
I had it on tap. It pours amber with a small, off-white head and lacing. The aroma is bread and caramel. The taste is caramel, nut, bread, and hay. There’s a nutty aftertaste to it. It was really smooth and drinkable. This is a good one. HonusWagner (2232) - Florida, USA - MAR 4, 2016
A pretty good to-style Marzen with nutty malt notes and a hint of toffee maybe. Good and drinkable. yespr (48094) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2014

A spicy malt and pumpkin taste. Good reddish brown color. Smell and taste were a bit tangy and metallic. Reminded me of blue moon pumpkin. keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - OCT 12, 2012

O: Solid oktoberfest beer, a notch above Sam Adams.
Draft. Pours golden amber with an off white head. Toasty aroma with lightly sweet malts. The flavor is clean and clear, with toast, bread, and toffee. Nice. HighWine (991) - Whalezbro, Illinois, USA - NOV 9, 2011
Tap at the brewery. Amber color with a thin white head. Completely lacking of aroma. Another choppy beer that has flavors but they don’t flow together well. Taste is wet hair, bitter hop oils, and white bread. Moderately thin palate.
