It tastes like a glassful of pumpkin pie, and no wonder! Loads of pumpkin, along with our own blend of spices, give this orange-colored ale the festive flavor that’s perfect for the season.

Tap at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a small, frothy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is pumpkin, nutmeg, cloves, and earthy hops, dates, cookie and biscuit malt. Flavor is malt and spices with light hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Tap at the brewery. Definitely tastes like a slice of pumpkin pie! Dark amber pour with a bright white head. Aromas of clove and cinnamon. Taste is pumpkin pie spice with a good hop balance to keep it from getting too spicy and sweet like many pumpkin ales (talkin’ to you Southern Tier). There’s a nice pumpkin aromatic flavor behind the spice. Nice lingering spiciness and moderately slippery in the mouth. Tasty.

Dark amber color, foamy yellowish head, strange flavor perceived as soap at first but understood to be pumpkin later on, abrupt finish. A very strange beer which repulsed me at first but after the third sip, was enjoyable.

Draft at Philly location. Pretty subdued and lighter pumpkin beer. Pours a nice copper with offwhite head. Nose is spicy, nutmeg and squash. Perhaps some cinnamon as well. On taste, nice and full malt body, taste of pumpkin meat, more of the spice blend as well, though subdued. Pretty well balanced and what I’d expect from a well made Pumpkin Ale. Nice.

The aroma of sweet brown sugar, cinnamon spice, and pumpkin. The orange amber appearance has a light head. The flavor is medium to light in body with tons of pumpkin pie flavor, just as intended. You get a nice nutmeg ending on the palate.
