on tap in princeton. clear orange/light amber, medium carbonation. Aroma is tart apples, malt. Taste is tart apple, dry biscuit malt and bready. Well balanced. wnhay (722) - Princeton, New Jersey, USA - AUG 10, 2005
I was not a fan of this one. It was just overly tart. The flavors were unbalanced. tsarman (794) - Northern, New Jersey, USA - AUG 3, 2005
Princeton.I enjoyed this. A fine and semisweet ale. I did not think that it was overpowered with apple. More like a somewhat subtle essence of apple. dberger624 (1028) - Voorhees, New Jersey, USA - APR 14, 2005
Part of the sampler at the New Hope, Pa brewery. This was off a handpump so it got strikes off for that. This was like drinking apple beer. Way to fruity. Cornboy (424) - Eastampton, New Jersey, USA - SEP 15, 2004
I am not a fan of ciders, but this leans a bit more toward the beer side. Like a nice ale with a bit of apple juice (not cider) added to the boil. Was a refreshing beverage, but not one I can have more than one of at a sitting. Dont get me wrong, it was good, but not my style.
Was 100 percent better than any hard cider I have ever tasted I must say.

Light sour apple lager aroma, fruity. Orange-amber hazy with thin off-white lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Interesting apple-beer tast, light apple tart with mild bitter. Fruity tart finish, after. beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 12, 2004
SnakyB, with the cider and beer brewed concurrently? A "triumph!" you my exclaim. But be prepared for a peculiar shift from your normal college-age UK quaff. Its not as pungent as a mixed Snakebite, and does not taste like blackcurrant, though it is sweet. More like a sweet apple taste, rather than a dry one. Medium-pale, clear brown color. Drinkable to say the least--but certainly a version of SnakyB that needs to have an acquired taste. Jine (903) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - AUG 11, 2004
This was unlike anything I’ve ever had. I don’t know what to think of it. Like beer mixed with apple cider, nice. obxdude10 (2324) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 8, 2004
Light copper in color, small white head but laced around the glass very well, sour nose with some hints of cider & fruits, flavors went sour then sweet, lots of fruit flavors with hints of orange peel & citrus, finish was way too sweet & lingered forever

07.21.04 Princeton. Copper color, thin head, little lace. Cidery aroma with some citrus. I don’t really smell much ’beer’. Taste is grainy with an apple skin tartness and some musty "Belgian" qualities but not terribly good. Resiny and oily. Lingering apple unpleasantness on finish. This one was not for me.
