on tap-pours a quickly dissipating white head with copper/orange color. Aroma is sweetness, fruity. Taste is apple cider, sweet, faint malt&hops. OK carbonation. Good cider/OK beer.

Draft. Pours an amber body with a thin white lacing. Apple tones, slick and tart with some fresh tart apples. Caramel and apple warming. I hated it.

Tap at Philly. Pours a very light appley amber copper with a decent foamy off white head. Aroma is nice cider, fresh pressed apples, light caramel malt, and some green apple skin. Flavor is zesty apple, tart acidity running through the middle to cut the sweetness of both the apple and the light crystal malts. Ok blend of cider and ale. Fairly smooth and easy to drink. Light sour apple lager aroma, fruity. Orange-amber hazy with thin off-white lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Interesting apple-beer tast, light apple tart with mild bitter. Fruity tart finish, after. trapped (3490) - New York, TURKEY - JUN 9, 2014

This is one of those beers that takes a couple of samples to rate accurately. Aroma is like sour apples with a malt sweetness. Pours a nice amber with a good head. Flavor is tart apples with some beer i9n there somewhere. The more I drank the better I liked it. Finishes quite sour and dry. pivo (2687) - GERMANY - NOV 26, 2002
Apple-juice taste, a little spicy and Belgian-like. Nice gold color and small bubbles. Too sweet for me, but a relatively successful beer. willblake (2654) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - JUL 21, 2004
07.21.04 Princeton. Copper color, thin head, little lace. Cidery aroma with some citrus. I don’t really smell much ’beer’. Taste is grainy with an apple skin tartness and some musty "Belgian" qualities but not terribly good. Resiny and oily. Lingering apple unpleasantness on finish. This one was not for me. Aroma wast like tart, barn and grain. Light amber body, soft carbonation. Apple, lemon and hop flavor. Kicks on the roof of the tongue. Refreshing and for me so far the best beer of this brewpub.
