Princeton.I enjoyed this. A fine and semisweet ale. I did not think that it was overpowered with apple. More like a somewhat subtle essence of apple. Jine (903) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - AUG 11, 2004
This was unlike anything I’ve ever had. I don’t know what to think of it. Like beer mixed with apple cider, nice. beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 12, 2004
SnakyB, with the cider and beer brewed concurrently? A "triumph!" you my exclaim. But be prepared for a peculiar shift from your normal college-age UK quaff. Its not as pungent as a mixed Snakebite, and does not taste like blackcurrant, though it is sweet. More like a sweet apple taste, rather than a dry one. Medium-pale, clear brown color. Drinkable to say the least--but certainly a version of SnakyB that needs to have an acquired taste. Cornboy (424) - Eastampton, New Jersey, USA - SEP 15, 2004
I am not a fan of ciders, but this leans a bit more toward the beer side. Like a nice ale with a bit of apple juice (not cider) added to the boil. Was a refreshing beverage, but not one I can have more than one of at a sitting. Dont get me wrong, it was good, but not my style.
Was 100 percent better than any hard cider I have ever tasted I must say. WeeHeavySD (3387) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 12, 2009

Tap at Philly. Pours a very light appley amber copper with a decent foamy off white head. Aroma is nice cider, fresh pressed apples, light caramel malt, and some green apple skin. Flavor is zesty apple, tart acidity running through the middle to cut the sweetness of both the apple and the light crystal malts. Ok blend of cider and ale. Fairly smooth and easy to drink. Aroma wast like tart, barn and grain. Light amber body, soft carbonation. Apple, lemon and hop flavor. Kicks on the roof of the tongue. Refreshing and for me so far the best beer of this brewpub. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - SEP 18, 2006
on tap in princeton. clear orange/light amber, medium carbonation. Aroma is tart apples, malt. Taste is tart apple, dry biscuit malt and bready. Well balanced. keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - AUG 8, 2009
This is one of those beers that takes a couple of samples to rate accurately. Aroma is like sour apples with a malt sweetness. Pours a nice amber with a good head. Flavor is tart apples with some beer i9n there somewhere. The more I drank the better I liked it. Finishes quite sour and dry. trapped (3599) - New York, TURKEY - JUN 9, 2014
Drought. Vanilla aroma, creamy light beige head hazy copper color fruity taste slightly sour abrupt finish with berry aftertaste. Not bad bui not great either.
