Bottle, 33 l. Hazy pale yellow colour with big white head. Aroma wheaty with coriander. Medium body. For me it’s a better whitebeer. Refreshing. Augustijn55 (82) - Izegem, BELGIUM - SEP 21, 2006

Appearance: bright orange pour, thick with haze, and a creamy, fluffy white head. Aroma: white bread fresh from the oven, cloves, and scads of citrus. Taste: wheaty, with notes of dough and pie crust; tons of orange; additional notes of clove, yeast, and banana. Finish: creamy, tingly, with a slight zing. Notes: Now, I love a good Belgian wit. This was a great Belgian wit. Thick and creamy, but the carbonation, yeast, and citrus keep it light. Split it three ways, unfortunately, as I’d have liked to drink the whole darn thing. Fresh bottle from the Rare Beer Club.

very light and refreshing with a good aftertaste, pleasantly surprised. Bought it in a ’mixed lot’ so didn’t know what to expect (thought it might be a cheap beer to make up the numbers) but next time I visit Belgium I will look for it and buy more

33 cl. bottle @ Mombasa as “De Graal Triverius“. Hazy orange, solid creamy white head. Thick wheat nose with lovely fruity orange & peach aspects, fruity, little caramel. Thick strong wheat flakes taste, creamy, ripe peach, flowers, soft fruit, harmonious coriander… Very creamy, wonderful, I am not a big fan of the style but this is one of the better examples that I have hade, big surprise, very nice. Ottima blanche, la gradazione alcolica piuttosto elevata per il genere non si sente; è più ’in stile’ della Honnelles, per dire, e anche più ’semplice’ anche se altrettanto gustosa.... gnam Geuzelambix (243) - København, DENMARK - APR 7, 2010
I had this after a few other good Belgian beer. Despite of that (or maybe because of that) I really liked this. A manly and quite heavy witbeer with a typical Belgian power combined with some lightness of the wheat. The yeast is characteristic and interesting. At KBW in Vichte (B). It’s a hazy yellow colored beer, with a nice foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, some sweet of orange. Wheaty and some spices. The taste is a bit bitter, with a little sweet and spicy notes of coriander.
Dry and refreshing.
