Hazy orange gold, medium to large white head, no lacing. Aroma is wheat, spice, belgian fruit, and nutmeg. Flavor is fruity wheat, and munich malt. Medium bodied. A solid hefeweizen but not my favorite style Franckg (1920) - Trois-Rivières, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 12, 2016
CharmCityCrab (249) - Maryland, USA - AUG 9, 2016
Aroma is banana and a little bit of pepper. Taste is banana and a hint of smokey thick bread with a smooth backdrop. Very slight burn, maybe a little more than some hefes, but not really what I’d call a significant hops presence (And, to be fair, the style doesn’t call for one anyhow). Tastes like a hefeweizen with just a hint of dunkelweizen, in beer terms. Mostly hefe, though, which is how ratebeer is categorizing it, I feel correctly (Though the bottle label itself makes no claims as to style and just calls it a "wheat beer").
There’s nothing wrong with it, but I have to admit the last one from an old mix pack the rest of which was long gone sat in my fridge for a long while. But that’s just because I’m not a huge fan of wheat beers, not because something is wrong with it within the bounds of the style. I think it is a reasonable variation on the style and if you’re in the mood for what it offers, you’ll be reasonably satisfied. Nothing too special, though- the flavor is stronger than some of the real watery hefes that sometimes get mass marketed, but it’s not a real rich hearty flavor that some fans of these type of beers may be seeking (For my part, I’m okay with that. Too rich in this style might not be my thing. If I wanted a rich tasting wheat beer and price were not a factor, I’d probably prefer a tripel or trappist style ale.). One thing I will say is that despite all the wheat beers that flood the US craft market, somehow many of them avoid the basic banana flavor hefeweizen taste, which I imagine could be quite frustrating to hefe fans. This beer doesn’t run away from what it is. books_n_brews (163) - Baltimore-ish, Maryland, USA - AUG 7, 2016
Cloudy pale yellow pour small head. Strong Spice wheat and Ester aroma. German yeast clove taste. Smooth finish. Interesting beer. BytesAndBrews (66) - - AUG 7, 2016
Pleasant spicy aroma on this hazy straw colored wheat beer. Strong clove and pepper notes dominate but do not overwhelm this easy drinking beer.

What jumps out at me with this beer is the spicy notes that I don't typically associate with a wheat beer. It's very pleasant and very refreshing to come across something like this, and aside from that little bit of spice, you're still looking at a solid wheat beer. Very good. Draught at Jet Rock Bar and Grill in Terminal B of PHL. Dark gold with full white head. Hazy - OK for style. A fair amount of tartness here. tfontana (1185) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 22, 2016
Bottle pour into pint glass from One Stop Market. Appearance is clear, golden yellow with tons of sparkle, 1 1/2 finger-width white fizzy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is strong banana and clove. Taste is as aroma. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, soft to average carbonation with sweet banana finish. Overall, a light and refreshing wheat beer with strong aroma and flavor with gorgeous appearance. koleminer20 (4176) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUN 12, 2016
Flight shared with ebone1988 at the brewery. The pour is a foggy darker golden yellow with a thick ring of light gray head and no lace. The aroma is banana and clove. There is a light Belgian maltiness that isn’t good and a light apple on the back end. The flavor is the same. Big Belgian yeast and clove with banana. The apple skins really help this come off not so abrasive to me, and I like it. The mouth feel is thicker and a little softly carbonated. The aftertaste is malts and a hint of apple and spice. It’s interesting, but not good. ebone1988 (2237) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - JUN 12, 2016
