Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Tröegs brothers’ dreamiest creation — Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining wheat with Munich and Pilsner malts, German Northern Brewer hops, open-top fermentation and a yeast strain that imparts hints of pepper, clove and banana, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

Hazy lemonade color with continuous carbonation. Banana, spices, other yeast notes on aroma. Taste is clean, a little floral hops. Light mouthfeel with a bit of zestiness. Nice.

Hmm a somewhat distinctive wheat beer, predominantly is of the standard yeasty clove and banana variety, but has a slight pale malt and straw accent from what appears to be Munich malt or other non-wheat ingredients. Nice golden slightly cloudy appearance, average. Had a cleaner finish for the style, light peppery hint over pale grain. Just enjoyable, although definitely has piqued my interest in Troeg. Thanks Vincent!

Bottle from Kroger. Pours golden with a huge white head. Smells of green banana and grass. Taste is ripe banana with grass and toast. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, thanks Christina! Spicy yeast aroma with notes of wheat malt, clove and pepper with some banana sweetness. Pours cloudy golden colored with a thin white head with some retention and lacing. Starts with wheat malt flavors with some banana sweetness. Finishes smooth with the banana becoming more prominent as well as spicy yeast flavors of clove and pepper. Refreshing and quite a nice hefe!

Sample @ PGH Beerfest. Pours a cloudy light brownish amber with a white head. Aroma of banana and cloves. Flavor is of light banana with a hint of clove spice. Decent tasting Hefeweizen. Refreshing and enjoyable but not the best one out there.

Soft banana and yeast aroma. Hazy orange body with a solid white two fingered head. Tart lemon and bready taste. Thin bodied with a touch rye like spiciness.

[7584-20150826] Bottle. Orange peel candy aroma. Hazy, pale orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Orange ginger flavour. Medium body is a little bitter. Good. (7/3-/8/4/15) 3.7

Poured from the tap at the Blue & Grey Pub in Gettysburg, PA into a pint glass. This beer is a very nice hefeweizen. The aroma is full of fruit, pepper and cloves. The flavor is wheat, cloves and fruit and is very nice. The beer is a slightly murky golden color with a smooth texture. a very good beer, highly recommended.

Can you say cloves? This otherwise good beer is spoiled IMO with the overpowering flavor of cloves. Not for me.
