COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Tröegs brothers’ dreamiest creation — Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining wheat with Munich and Pilsner malts, German Northern Brewer hops, open-top fermentation and a yeast strain that imparts hints of pepper, clove and banana, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

Pours hazy gold with about one finger head that disappears quickly. Aroma is bubblegum but lacking the potent banana ester i hoped. Flavor is much of the same but still quite good. I’ve had some pretty awesome american german hefeweizens and this falls somewhere inbetween. Though those are usually straight out of the tape from their brewery, this one is bottled and almost as good.

pours a hazy, pale with a small, fading, white head. The aroma is banana, clove and bubblegum with some bready malts. The flavor is lightly tart, with cloves, bananas and pears. The mouthfeel is lively with a spicey bite at the end. Nice hefe.

Pours golden and hazy just like a good unfiltered hefe should. I love the snap and spiciness thatthis offering carries with it. Like it with a lemon but it has, plenty of zestiness on its own. thumbs up in a world of too many bland wheat beers.

Yellow haze with a small frothy head. Little bitter with some hops to round out this medium bodied wheat ale.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2007 Bottle. Lightly hazy soft yellow colored body with a thin white head. Sweet and fruity lemon and light yeast up front and across the middle of the tongue, finishing crisp and on the tart side just slightly. Wheat, lemon and hay flavors abound in this one, and it’s properly light and very refreshing, though not exactly complex, it’s still delicious.

Pours bright yellow and cloudy with a mostly receding white head. Aroma is sweet and yeasty with notes of wheat and honey. Taste is sweet, fruity, citric with banana, and a firm backing of wheat. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lush, lively carbonation. Refreshing and well carbonated.

Pours a light straw gold with tons of yeast floating about. Standard hefe aroma of clove and banana. Flavor is light but complex, with a lomeony zest accompanied by some spicy banana and coriander. The finish is tart and sweet. Nice summer quaffer.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2006 Great hazy yellow with a strongly soapy white head and good lacing. Taste was smooth and quaffable with a moderately sweet finish and pleasant mouth feel. Midrange hefeweizen.

Pours a hazy blonde color with a thin white head. Good aroma and flavor of bananas and bubble-gum. The yeast and esters are present and enjoyable. The mouthfeel is very smooth and comfy. This is a pretty good hefeweizen.
