Dark amber with a foamy head that leaves lots of lace. Smells of of malt and grassy hops give this beer a nice aroma. Taste of sweet malts and floral, citrus hops are in balance with a medium body mouth feel.

As the name describes, the beer pours an amber brown with a quickly disappearing white head. Good earthy hop smell to this craft, hints of caramel. Nice hoppy start, with a malt finish. Very interesting taste. While definitely an Amber ale, the taste is distinct from others of the type. Smooth beer with the right amount of carbonation, almost syrupy. If ever there was a drinkable beer, it is this one. Goes down smooth with a good taste. The ABV is high enough to get you feeling good, without knocking you over.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2004 like the pale ale in its hop presence, but rounded out nicely in taste and mouthfeel with malt. affordable, wonderfully drinkable, really is more of a pale ale to me

I was excited to finally try a Troegs. Obviously, they make some well reviewed beers on this site. The beer poured a nice orange, amber with a decent head. The aroma was slightly citrus with ample hop smell coming through. The flavor was alright. Not as bitter as I was hoping for and the finish was quick. Reading the other reviews I’m going to try a couple of other bottles and see if I change my opinion. Otherwise, this was just an average beer for me. Drinkable, but average.

Nice sweet malty base with a grapefruit hops bite. Very well balanced. Refreshing with a nice dry finish.

An easy drinking amber ale with good malt and a slightly stronger hop note than usual. One of my favorite session beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very clear, dark golden straw colored with a thick, fizzy head. Peaches and pineapples waft over grass and sweet caramel. Taste like a fruity hops sandwich -- not bitter, but round and malty. Slightly thin body with a nice smooth finish.

On tap at Brickwall in Asbury. Pour is a nice deep amber with a small light head. Aroma of citrus, hops and some spice. Flavor is similiar. Nice hop bit with citrus and a malty sweetness near the end. Like this one. Been wanting to try it then ran into it at Brickwall. Liked it alot.

Bottle. Nice amber color that pours with a medium head. More hops in the aroma then in the palate, do I sense a bit of floral sweetness? If you like a hoppy amber this is for you. Not a favorite but an ale that I would look for when available.
