A good, uncomplicated, heavily hopped beer without too much alcohol. Something missing though for my taste, perhaps the balance of smooth malts, I dunno. Good nonetheless. stef92 (128) - Williamstown, New Jersey, USA - MAR 22, 2010
Pours a golden amber color with medium head. Strong floral outdoorsy aroma. Very crisp clean taste. Hoppy but not bitter. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Will be a regular in my rotation. BgThang (126) - Texas, USA - MAY 18, 2009
This was an extra in a rescent trade. I ve had nugget nectar many times befoe and I have passed this one up on my travels. I finally tried this beer and boy I was missing out. Very great nose thats citrusy and piney, but really well balanced. a very refreshing beer for the summer months ahead.

Good hop aroma with a subtle background of malt. Hop and malt are pretty well balanced. The texture is good with some butter cut by hop acidity. The taste is balanced, just a little bit heavy on the hop bitters. a10555 (125) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - OCT 26, 2008
A refreshing beer. A slight brown color with nice lacing on the glass. Has a nice nutty hoppy taste and finishes very smooth. An impressive brewery.

Loved it! Nice hoppy kick, but well balanced with the rest of the beer. Haven’t had a Troegs yet that I didn’t love. TylerPow (122) - Washington, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 25, 2011
Last one out of the 5gal. keg. Clear blond/amber color. Nice flowery aroma. Crisp with slightly spicy finish. Nice as mellow/well balaced as some other ambers. johnluvsbeer (120) - Arizona, USA - FEB 24, 2012
Dark amber with a foamy head that leaves lots of lace. Smells of of malt and grassy hops give this beer a nice aroma. Taste of sweet malts and floral, citrus hops are in balance with a medium body mouth feel. russwbeck (117) - Tyrone, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 27, 2010
As the name describes, the beer pours an amber brown with a quickly disappearing white head. Good earthy hop smell to this craft, hints of caramel. Nice hoppy start, with a malt finish. Very interesting taste. While definitely an Amber ale, the taste is distinct from others of the type. Smooth beer with the right amount of carbonation, almost syrupy. If ever there was a drinkable beer, it is this one. Goes down smooth with a good taste. The ABV is high enough to get you feeling good, without knocking you over. UPDATED: FEB 5, 2004 like the pale ale in its hop presence, but rounded out nicely in taste and mouthfeel with malt. affordable, wonderfully drinkable, really is more of a pale ale to me
