Absolute best Amber Ale I’ve had to date. Everything about it is wonderful! Rstump (2) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 14, 2010 does not count
Pours a golden amber color with nice transparency. The first sip hits you with the crisp hopiness that i crave. But yet it still maintains a refreshing quality that leaves you wanting another. One of my favorites for sure, glad to live so close to the brewery! danmulligan (1) - hamilton, New Jersey, USA - OCT 22, 2005 does not count
A great tasting beer which goes down nice and easy. I love to sit and drink 2 or 3 during one sitting. hophappy (1) - lititz, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 14, 2008 does not count
Best session beer i ever had!Beautiful hop aroma with slight grapefruit maybe a very slight spice and good solid caramel malt backbone.Flavor perfectly matching the aroma. Not to bitter but yet very hoppy.Good complexity but very drinkable.
Very well balanced.Beautiful deep amber color with a thick off white head with very good lacing. Also a very pleasant soft carbonation.Excellent beer for summer or fall. Can drink quite a few in one sitting even at 6% abv.Excellent job troegs! Strugglr (1) - Virginia, USA - NOV 1, 2012 does not count
This is maybe my favorite year round ale. My go to when I’m not buying a seasonal or trying new beers. For me it has the perfect amount of bitter and plenty of hops. I can be happy with just one on a weeknight or drink a 6 pack during a football game.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2013 Bottle into pint glass.Extra cold. Great flavor and smooth. Cold run on this one for a few months as it is very enjoyable. My second favorite troeg behind nugget nectar. comedygene (8) - New York, USA - JUL 19, 2013 does not count
It wants to be an ipa and an ale at the same time. A very balanced beer with fruity hops notes mixed with caramel taste of a well flavored ale. Amber1 (32) - USA - NOV 2, 2002
very lively and fresh hop aroma on draft. orange to amber in color, it poured nicely, hope to try bottles someday. Prostman (1077) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 18, 2003
This was an outstanding amber ale. Beautiful color with a lasting white head. Nice hoppiness thoughout and the malt keeps the beer in balance from start to finish. A great beer. Mary (2) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 15, 2003 does not count
Excellent hoppy beer. Pleasant hops aroma, clear copper color, tastes clean and refreshing. I would have guessed it an IPA.
