12.7oz bottle, shared with danielcoor and friends. Mildly hazy amber orange color. Thin off-white head. Good ropes of lace. Pretty excited for this, considering the high rates. Upfront, though, I’m surprised how much spice there is. Dominated by nutmeg and clove. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of soft lighter carbonation. Moderate bitter taste. Light to moderate sweet, kind of spicy and rough. Some pumpkin to it beneath the spice. Was hoping for more from this.

375ml bottle pours a clear, burnt orange amber with some thin, creamy, white head. Nose has a ton of spices, nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, a little cardamom, malt, some caramel, root veg, squash and sweet potato, a little toasted marshmellow. Flavor is like a Coke and a Chai mixed together, some sweetness, caramel, cola, tons of spice, pepper, nutmeg, ginger. Spicy finish.

Sampled from a 12.7 oz corked brown bottle this beer poured a murky brown color with a medium sized foamy orange-tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was vegetal and malty with sour caramel and vague spices. The flavor was tangy and vegetal with sour caramel and vague spices. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Meh.

[Bottle (375ml)] Pours a clear deep orange-copper with an average size diminishing frothy white head. No lacing. Aroma of pumpkin, spices and grain along with bready malt and some light fruit. Malty flavour with pumpkin and spices -- simple but nice. Alcohol is totally hidden. Medium bodied. The pumpkin and spices are there but not over the top like some Pumpkin beers, and sometimes that’s what you want.

375 ml bottle purchased at Leary’s Fine Wine, Newburyport, MA. $3.95. Dark orange with a brown hue for color, thin head. The aroma is mild nutmeg all spice and pumpkin! Thankfully I can actually smell the gourd and not pure spice. What a concept!

This the flavor starts as expected ginger, all spice, nutmeg with clove. They use a saison yeast but not sure how it really is affecting the flavor or body. I do get a slight vanilla hint with pumpkin purée flavor being real subtle. The body is fuller side of medium. I got excited when I saw a corked and caged 375 ml bottle but after sipping it, it reveals it’s as a slightly above average pumpkin brew.
