12.7 oz bottle. Pours brown with tall, creamy, long-lasting, off-white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of yeast, spices, toffee, dark fruit, brown sugar and herbal hops. Body is full and crisp. Taste is similar to aroma, not much pumpkin at all. Finish is long and spicy. Excellent brew. ESPh (134) - Branchburg, New Jersey, USA - NOV 8, 2016
In bottle has a nice pour with white head and brown/orange color. Aroma of pumpkin, clove, vanilla. Nice smooth to drink, well balanced spices and pumpkin. Medium carbonation. Mild heat from alcohol. Very well done and a top pumpkin.

Bottle shared by friends. Pours mostly clear dark amber with creamy beige head. Aroma is cereal and cookie malts, cinnamon, nutmeg, spice cake, pumpkin, and light fig. Flavor is heavy spices, pumpkin, lightly sweet bready malts, and faint toast; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. devman171 (1221) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - FEB 21, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2014 Bottle pours amber with white head. Big pumpkin pie spice nose and taste with a light body. Very nice pumpkin Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2014
This poured an orange color with a white head. Aroma was of light spices, cracker, yeast esters and grass. Flavor was a great blend between mild pie spices, pumpkin flesh, and saisiny rusticity. Really cool take on a pumpkin beer.

Pour is reddish copper with a thin tan ring. Nose is light pumpkin with fair bit of spice. Some grain balance and a touch of banana bread. Taste is heavier pumpkin spice with a hint of apple cider and a touch of banana bread. Fairly strong carb with a medium to full body. bierkitty (167) - Elysburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 18, 2014
Beautiful dark burnt orange from a growlers. Nice head and just enough fizziness. Aroma of spices and Belgian yeast. Nicely balanced spice mix on the palate. The Belgian yeast enhances the spiciness and complexity. Just a bit of pumpkin is also evident. This is one of the best pumpkin beers I have tried. First off, these Troeg’s cork and cage bottles are just awesome. Not that we needed further proof that Troegs is still putting out a top-notch product, has not sold out and is generally amazing, but there you have it.
The amber-chestnut beer shows good clarity and a wispy beige/off-white head that slowly fades to a ring/cover.
Sticky buttercream, caramel, vanilla and primarily clove/nutmeg in the nose, it nonetheless still makes plenty of room for the saison yeast characteristics. Earthiness, light acids, cellar notes and peppery phenols all provide more complexity than any pumpkin beer I can remember. No flaws, no alcohol noted.
In the mouth, there is modestly tight carbonation, with a good creaminess from the light sugars. The spices, as in all pumpkin beers, do break up the consistency a bit, but less so here than in most. Cinnamon, vanilla, actual pumpkin flavor and light caramel are all balanced well, with plentiful peppery phenols from the yeast and moderate acidity as well. Clean, mostly dry and with no alcohol. One of the best pumpkins I’ve ever had.
375 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/7/2015. Pours slightly hazy reddish copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, pepper, pear, apple, red grape, honey, brown sugar, gingerbread, toasted biscuit, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, pumpkin/spices, and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, pepper, pear, apple, red grape, honey, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Moderate amount of herbal/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, pepper, pear, apple, red grape, honey, brown sugar, gingerbread, toasted biscuit, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, pumpkin/spices, and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Some light dryness from peppery yeast/spice notes as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and lightly creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice pumpkin saison style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, pumpkin/spices, and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
