Bottle. Joel's house. Aroma of orange candy sugar cane, Nectarine. Spicy Belgium yeast. Medium bodied. Average carbonation. Velvety smooth texture. Grapes, slight raisin. It's still decent but not even close to the regular Mad Elf.

Bottled as part of the "Scratch Series". Pours hazy dark amber into the glass, with a thick eggshell head that reduces to nice ring lacing. The nose is of dough, bread, barnyard accents and earth. Flavors of yeasty esters, sourdough, light earth and hay mingle with light, sweeter notes of caramel, melon and and spices. The finish is dry, somewhat curt, of pie spices and a lingering ABV heat. The full body and round mouthfeel are kept alive with decent carbonation, lending a yeasty, yet juicy palate. This is very complex and substantial, and wonderfully enjoyable Tripel to be had anytime. jsporrer (1167) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 12, 2016

Quite a nice beer. Coriander and clove with big florals and light booze. Light sweet finish. Nice for style. Tap at Churchkey. books_n_brews (163) - Baltimore-ish, Maryland, USA - AUG 9, 2016
Red copper pour. Big head. Smells of esters and fruit. Tastes with a bit of Clove and cinnamon that mellows out and tingles. Very nice and exactly how I imagine my tangle with a naked elf would go

Aroma banana, clove, spice,
Appearance amber, clear, tan foam,
Taste medium sweetness,
Palate medium body, lively,
Overall a nice triple that tasted a little stronger than 6.8 but still very good. I would suggest this beer to a friend. DiarmaidBHK (6168) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 20, 2016
Draft at taproom. Pours brown with a thin khaki head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Orange and Other juicy fruit on the nose. Solid triple aspects on the tongue. Finished with that warming thing you get from mad elf. An interesting experiment but I'm missing the fullness and the fruitiness of the mad elf.
