12oz bottle - pours clear gold with white head and decent lacing. Nose is citrus pine. Flavor adds hops. Dry bitterness all around. Sweetness? No clue. Medium body. Decent but a one trick pony.

Tap. Golden with nice pillowy white head and ample lacing. Nice piney, resiny, grapefruity aroma. Flavor follows with a bit of perfuminess. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a nice hoppy ending.

bhensonb (14966) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 20, 2012
Bottle from Half Time. Pours clear "greenish" gold (lots of trees around with green leaves, so?) with a slight white head. Aroma is mildly floral. Med body. Flavor is very floral with some soft fruit. Mild roast malt backbone. Heavily hopped pale ale sort of thing. There’s a lot of hop - enough to start a burn on the tongue.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. This is an IPA as in Imperial Pale Ale. Pours orange amber wtih a modest off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor with a dry hoppy finish. Very floral, fairly bitter. A nice brew.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2017 Pours a light orange/golden, with steady white head, about half an inch. Not much in the way of lacing. Nice nose of citrus and piney and floral hops. Very satisfying aroma. It all starts out well, with citrus and hops swimming in my mouth, with seemingly decent but faint malt backbone. A great balance of hops and sweetness. Not overly hopped like other IPAs, just the right balance. Very well done.

Appearance is a clear amber with medium white head. Aroma is a more sweet hop. Taste is certainly bitter, but hidden underneath a sweet earthy hop. Overall a well balanced IPA.

Bottle at home (thanks to an IP trade with Kurt) 18/12/12 (bottled 3rd Aug 12). Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin white head that soon clears to a film and doesn’t even socialise with the edge of the glass - how rude! Nose is dominated by caramel malt, pine, citrus, touch of biscuit. Taste comprises hops, bitter grapefruit, orange pith, caramel malt, pine, sweet sugars. Medium bodied, light spritz in the carbonation but not too detract from an enjoyable mouthfeel, bitter finish. Decent well balanced IPA.
