Draft. Pours a pale gold, definitely making certain that it’s an Imperial Pale Ale, not an India Pale Ale. Slight head that fades to thick lacing. Big fresh hops aroma. Very smooth, crisp hops taste. Easy drinking. Doesn’t last long on the palate, so the beer disappears fast. dpjuart (1112) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2012
A schooner at Champs in Altoona. Pours clear tan with yellow hues, frothy egg white head. Citrus nose, orange and lemon with grapefruit. Lots of hop flavor, grapefruit and a bit of pine, moderate bitter. Balanced by malt, lingering finished. kenwall17 (284) - new york, New York, USA - JUL 21, 2012
Golden pour with modest head. Modest piney hops. Like many IPAs... Many good ones. ddemmingjr (890) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - JUL 20, 2012
On draft at La cave du vin: pours clear golden, minimal off white head that fades to almost nothing. Nose is tremendous citrus, pine, faint resin. Quite resinous hop notes on the palate. Heavier bodied and not as drinkable as some others at this ABV.

Aroma is lemon, grapefruit, pine, and grass. Poured a clear golden color with a white head. Taste is a well balance between citrus, pine floral and a bitter/dry finish. Has just a tinge of honey taste as well. Overall is pretty good stuff.

Fantastic double IPA!! This beer pours a bright golden color with a big, soft and pillow-like white head. The head leaves a cascading sticky lace around the inside of the glass. The nose is full of hop resin, pine and citrus. The body is smooth and extremely drinkable. The flavors are spicy, dry and very, very hoppy! I taste a lot of grapefruit, hop resin and pine in the flavors, as well. The finish is, again, very dry and spicy with lots of citrus and pine notes. Perpetual IPA is an awesomely fantastic and delicious beer! sailracer (486) - Massachusetts, USA - JUL 20, 2012
Tap. Nice floral hop aroma. The initial taste has some piney and flowery hop flavor. There is a strong bitterness that lingers on your tongue for quite awhile (a negative for me). OK but not up to Nugget Nectar standards. rayy (48) - Ohio, USA - JUL 20, 2012
(from bottle) Great IPA. Pale clear gold, good hops aroma. Gave my buddy a taste, he said "it tastes like flowers". Taste is mostly hops, some light malty sweetness in the middle palate. Alcohol noticeable, not disagreeable, though. Good clean bitterness at the finish. I’ll have another! sterby22 (1) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 19, 2012 does not count
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2012 Hoppy, floral aroma. Pale, golden appearance with white head and nice lacing in the bottle and on draft. Overall, a real palate pleaser... excellent pine and citrus flavor. Earthy and smooth. Another outstanding brew from this independant, craft brewery. Sammy (12967) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 18, 2012
A surprisingly good beer, Pours medium yellow bodied with lots of carbonation bubbles. A tad above average mouthfeel, smooth. Hoppy aroma. Good hop flavour well integrated with sweet malt. More of an IPA than a DIPA, not having in your face hops. Fresh bottle from Premiere Gourmet helped, tasted near-on draft.
