4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Date tasted: July 26, 2013 ... Glassware: Maudite snifter... Occasion: more camp IPA talk leads to another IPA... Appearance: hazy peach-orange body with a creamsicle-inspiring white head that laces diligently and thins attractively... Aroma: powerful citrus flavors--peach/grapefruit one-two punch with bright hops uplifting the scent... Palate: mouth-expanding, pine cone missile-sized presence makes this a worthwhile sip, while the alcohol is comfortably tucked away...Taste: shockingly mellow, deliciously balanced; more sour than sweet, with the puckering nature being fully realized late in the glass...Overall: Came as a gift from brother Jer and the golf weekend (nice!), as well as a high recommendation from Mount Pocono Beverage’s associate...two beers later, and I am still aftertasting the pleasure of this beer’s hops cascade; tremendously drinkable at 7.5% ABV, with the "I’m Superman" vibe in effect after the beer is finished; another fine IPA that can fairly be in the discussion of the genre’s top 25...
Had this from the bottle with Stefan in Philly. Brewed in Hershey, PA. Hops and malt on the nose. Short-lived head. Clear light amber-yellow color. Crisp mouth. Balanced West-coast hops with citrus and pine flavors with nice malt and 7.5% ABU but does not feel too heavy.

Hazy amber, decent head. This one has a burst of grapefruit and pineapple hop notes in the aroma tinged by citrus. The body is sticky, sweet pineapple and grapefruit, and lemon citrus. Shag (3060) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - OCT 15, 2017
Orange color with a white head. The aroma contains some caramel, oranges, and pine. The flavor is mildly hoppy with some lemons and oranges. There is a good balance of malt with this one. Im not really getting much of the tropical fruit as advertised but overall a pretty good IIPA. brownaler (742) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - OCT 13, 2017
Strong hop aroma with floral hop bite with bready malts. Clean finish and a good imperial IPA.

I really like this. It sort of has a dry finish. It's not super fruity, but it is super hoppy. Nice straw/golden color with pretty lacing. Would drink again.

It's a little too sweet. reasonable palate, nice initial taste. I like the way the aluminum can feels in my hand. I'm playing star craft, the remastered version. It has been many years yet I remember every upgrade, every Terran army voice, and the clicks are satisfying and familiar. But like trying to play with old toys the giddy joy I felt for the game as a kid is not there. It's just another nostalgic unreasonable attempt. the beer is good but that sweetness makes me feel I wasted my one evening beer. GlennHendry (528) - OSHAWA, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 9, 2017
Pine and spices on the nose. The taste is all west coast, with pine and citrus dominant. Smooth as silk
