Bottle. Pours golden orange with a white head. Very mild aroma with nothing noticeably off. The flavor shows moderate oxidation without much else to cover it up. There are some faint off spicy notes as well; have no idea what would cause that. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 13, 2011
A: The beer pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head.
S: Surprisingly decent nose. Sweet malts and pale breads dominate. There’s a fair amount of citrus character and some light fruitiness to it as well.
T: Sort of watered down and bland. Bready malts with a hint of cardboard, very little bitterness or hop flavor. A little bit of citrus to it and some sweetness, maybe sugar?
M: Light in body with a medium carbonation.
O: Not sure what I could really expect from a 4 year old Dortmunder lager, but this was probably about it. nickd717 (4818) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 13, 2010
12oz bottle thanks to dashirey on BA.
Pours slightly hazy golden with a one-finger white head and good lacing.
Sweet pale malt and sherry on the aroma.
Mmm I love aged helles lagers. I have a whole case in my cellar dedicated to aging helles lagers for 10+ years. Well, not really. Flavor is sweet pale malt, sherry, and green apple. This has actually aged fairly well.
Smooth on the palate with medium-light body.
Not bad! Leave it to Troegs to make a helles lager that actually ages well. Harrisburgers are awesome.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden body with an off white head. Big floral notes with a nice citric but dry bitterness. Cereal and bready and some light sweet malt, grain and some light dried fruit, apple. good offering.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy yellow with a nice head. The aroma was grains and grass. The flavor was decent, sweet, lemons, oranges, spicy, yeast, a very tasty brew. Overall, very drinkable. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 4, 2008
Bottled. Poured hazy brighter golden with some chunkage floating around in there.. short white head. The aroma picked up citrus notes first and foremost with sour and spiciness evident.. I couldn’t pick out much of the malt bill, but honey came through. The flavor opened with tangy orange zest and spicy floral bitterness, with sourdough bread and a pinch of honey sweetness rolling into the middle.. spicy and brighter throughout, which gave it a refreshing feel on the finish. Lighter-bodied with medium, rolling carbonation across the palate.. OK feel, but a bit too sharp and a rather tacky at the end. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - AUG 27, 2008
Poured a hazy yellow color with a stiff off-white head. Aroma of grainy cereal and a touch of grass. Some sulfur as it warms. Earthy hops with a clean malt base. Light citrus middle. Short malt and long fairly dry bitter finish. Light body. LinusStick (3496) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 18, 2008
A typical D/H. Has a bit more bite to it than most which is a good thing. Aroma was very weak. Could pick up some grass and not much else. Pour was a nice murky medium gold with a one finger white head and some thousands of tiny floaties (I love that they didn’t filter this!). Taste was nice, crisp and refreshing. Light pilsener malt all the way through with some hops coming out to dry the mouth and bitter the tongue. Great carbonation and dryness. I’ve upped the ratings twice as I finish the glass. redlight (2318) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 10, 2008
cheers to Beerlando for this one! Sweet malty aroma honey with a hint of cereal grains. Pours cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Sweet malts, hints of citrus, grassy, a good bite and dry finish. Not bad and easy to drink.
