From notes. Pour is golden amber with a tight off white head. The nose is light with citrus, mango, and some herbal notes. Taste is mild, gentle carbonation with a medium body and a hint syrupy. A fair bit of hops, citrusy and faint grapefruit with an herbal finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Served from a firkin at the brewery.
It was dry hopped with experimental hop #06277
A - Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a nice two finger tall white head, dissipating down to a light film, leaving spotty rings of lace down the sides of the glass.
S - Smells of intense fresh zested citric fruit, grassy hops, pine resin and some nice caramel malt sweetness. This one is really fruity from start to finish, grassy hops come through more as it warms up.
T - Starts off with the strong citric fruit; mainly grapefruit and pineapple; quickly giving way to the grassy hop bitterness, sticky pine resin and toasted malt sweetness. Finish is a little watery with some mild hop bitterness, not lingering for very long after the finish. Cask serving is nice but I think it may be bringing it down a little bit.
M - Medium-Light body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, hoppy feel goes a touch watery as it sits in the glass.
O - Pretty solid. It smells awesome and it tastes pretty good as well but the slightly watery feel brings the overall package down a notch. Glad I got to try it, just wish they still had the regular tap version to compare it to.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Troegs. Pours turbid deep orange with 2-finger fluffy white head. Nose is big tangerine mango, grapefruit, black pepper. Tastes of huge tropical fruit, including grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, heavy black pepper, and piney hops, and a well balanced caramel malt bill. This one carries a huge IBU load, and is hop heavy. This one is delicious. Chris and John, make this year round, and call it Pineapple Paradise IPA. I’ll forego the royalties.
