I wasn't too impressed with stout that I had on draft at the Collegeville Champps. The beer poured a black color with a big brown head. The head left some really nice lacing around the inside of the glass. I was expecting a creamier texture, but got a fuller, more robust feel. A creamier flavor was also in my expectations, but again, I got a bolder profile with notes more like dark chocolate. Just because my initial expectations weren't met doesn't make this a bad beer. I just wouldn't be able to enjoy a bunch of these in one sitting. The higher alcohol content may have had something to do with that as well. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 8, 2018
6/29/2016 -- from notes: 16oz nitro pour at Firehouse Grill. Awesome bit of earthy, dark chocolate, cocoa nib, nice vanilla. Moderate to bigger sweet taste. Light bitterness. Dark brown color, mostly clear. Finger of khaki head. Kind of on the sweeter side, but an enjoyable vanilla chocolate stout overall. beern (250) - Alabama, USA - NOV 21, 2017
Pours cascading, black and brown and tan with a nice frothy, creamy 2-finger tan head with an aroma of malt. Tastes of chocolate malt with some coffee and a little alcohol. It has a light, creamy, frothy palate. Clearly nitro. Bebum (1147) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 17, 2017
Opaque, fine nitro mousse, covering lace.
Medium to full body, moderately flavored, watery mouthfeel, medium heat, average length.
Weak, simple roast flavors, coffee predominantly.

[On tap at brewery. It is on the Year Round menu, but I think it's the same beer (same abv...)]
Light chocolate aroma with some toasted hazelnuts and very light ethanol accent. Clear dark black-rub under tan wisps and lace. Sweet flavour that finishes nicely dry and has gentle roasted barley and dark, bitter chocolate notes. Very delicate for a 7.1 abv beer. Medium light body, moderate carbonation, nutty dark chocolate lightly bitter finish.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2017 Pours dark black with lots of foam, sweet, roasty malts aroma and taste, when chilled almost a plastic and tart vinegar aroma, chocolate upfront but overwhelmed by the roasted malts, sweeter as it warms, and aroma gets better with more cocoa. tap. Bottle from Kroger. Pours dark brown, not quite black, with an inch of brown head. Aroma of chocolate, buried fruit somewhere... Flavor is chocolate, combo of dark and milk, perhaps some chocolate candy, faint coffee, no fruitiness that I detected in the nose. It’s OK - nothing extraordinary.
From tap. Pours pitch black with a small, creamy and brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish and slight chocolate. Roasted malty, chocolate. Mild sweet and lingering dark malty. Chocolate and roasted finish. ladnewton (2092) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 16, 2017
Bottle on 17th July 2017, gift from a friend. Pours virtually black with a strongly yellowed shallow head of foam and virtually no lacing. Roasty aroma with bitter chocolate. Rich roasty malts in-mouth with dark chocolate. A touch of plum and raisin fruitiness, which shapes a finish of nutty chocolate. Full bodied with an engaging texture. A gorgeous chocolate stout.
