A: The pour is a slightly hazed golden color with a thin creamy head that leaves some great streaks of lacing.
S: A very nice grapefruit and pineapple aroma that is very potent. Not much in the way of malt or pine, but what is there is very good.
T: There is a nice tropical fruit and grapefruit favor, but not quite as pungent as the nose. Very little bitterness, which is surprising. It really only shows up on the very end of the finish.
M: The body is medium with a moderate level of carbonation.
D: This is a nice and easy to drink IPA. It doesn’t quite have the bitterness that I look for in the style, but good otherwise. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 1, 2010

(12oz bottle, courtesy of thirdeye11) Pours a clear golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of nuts, pine, citrus, and some urinal cake. Flavor of grapefruit, spruce, pineapple, caramel malt, and nuts. deyholla (11597) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 29, 2010
Bottle shared by Shane, thanks! Poured a hazy amber gold with a white head that lasted. Aroma was a bit weak with mainly a citrus note consisting of mostly orange. Flavor had lots of citrus (orange) with a bit of a bread backbone. Left a little something to be desired. DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2010
Bottle from PUB’N via an intermediary. Pours turbid deep gold with big 3 finger sticky white head. Nose is heavy hops, florals, yeasty malt, grapefruit. Tastes very grapefruity, citric, with a rich malt presence. Smooth finish which gets very close to grapefruit juice with some florals, and is very enjoyable. Make this one year round, guys, and call it Ruby Red Napalm Apocalypse.

Bottle thanks to Jason. Nice clear orange pour, white head. Aroma has notes of some butter, peppery hops, and some caramel. Sweet caramel, orange and pine up front, some butterscotch and pine, finishing dry and slightly bitter. Nice brew, wish it was fresh but was still good! Bottled. Poured translucent medium golden with a short-lived off-white head. The aroma picked up sweeter caramel and fruity malts with aged peppery and fruity hops.. well-balanced, but a little old. The flavor found spicier and more aggressive hops through the palate (pine and citrus) over pale and some bready malts.. dried out on the finish. Light-medium bodied with lower carbonation on the palate.. felt good on the palate.. I’d love to try a fresh batch. egajdzis (6574) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 27, 2010
Dark golden color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of tangerine, citrus fruits, toffee malts, and toast. Taste of tropical fruits, citrus, pine, and finishing on the sweeter side. blutt59 (6564) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 10, 2010
