Sampled at the Hawai’i Admission Day tasting. Pours light straw gold with small white head. The aroma is kind of funky and straw-like with a slight isopropyl note. The flavor is very mild maltiness with an odd spicy yeast background. Planty hop finish. Not bad. Nejhleader (1550) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 11, 2010
Pretty nice brew. Was a bit taken back by the aroma, had a grassy kinda pale ale aroma to it. Taste was good though. Nice chewy body, Bit of a pine/ citrus fruit in the taste with a hint of spice. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 8, 2010
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark gold body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin ring. Aroma is a mix of lightly citrusy hops, some golden caramel, and a little toasted malt. Nicely hoppy with some citrusy notes, on the lighter side as far as the malt goes, some light ale fruitiness. Pretty drinkable with a nice lingering bitterness. Lighter bodied with fizzy prickly carbonation and a bit of a snap to the finish. Decent beer, think I’d stick with Anchor though as far as the style goes. egajdzis (6502) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 2, 2010
Dark golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, toasted malts, and caramel. Taste of citrus fruits, light pine, caramel, bread, and light toast. Thanks to Aaron for sharing! argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 1, 2010
