12 oz bottle. Clear copper with a creamy beige head. Nose is orange, dough, toffee and pine; getting catty. Thick and resiny with the head akin to marshmallow topping. Carb adds a sharp, lingering bite. Taste is caramel, pine, orange and grapefruit peel. Big hops, bitter, spicy and a bit hot. johnbuck100 (306) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2012
12 oz bottle from brewery. Very resiny with loads of hops masking a slight alcohol burn finishing with a somewhat sticky sweet hop bomb, with a bitter end. The hophead in me causes me to bow in reverence but the alcohol presence detracts from the overall taste. Any enjoyable DIPA, but I in my humble opinion, hopslam or maharajah is better. However, considering last night I was at a party where the host served Yuengling "Premium" Beer, who am I to get picky. daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 9, 2012
Amberish pour. Off white head. Grapefruit peel aroma and caramel. Flavor is loaded with citrus hops and toffee. Great damn beer. orangesol (987) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 2, 2012
Served on-tap at the Brewery and again from a bottle a few days later.
A - Pours deep tarnished copper orange with a small one finger tall white head leaving small streaks of lace down the glass. My pour from the bottle resulted in a huge 2-3 finger tall head...
S - Smells of juicy hops, pine resin, citric fruit rind, caramel sweetness, and some faint spice begins to creep in toward the end of the glass. As it warms, more and more booze creeps in.
T - Starts off with quite a bit of bitter citric hops that mix well with the sweet caramel malt, tropical fruits, and some warming booze. Finish is a little dry with a mix of sweetness and bitterness lingering on the pallet. All things considered it is fairly well balanced and easy to drink.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Sticky sweet, slightly bitter feel that clings to the pallet long after consumption.
O - I enjoyed this one. It never gets to the point of being great but it is fairly well balanced and pretty easy to drink. I think with a few minor tweaks it could really be great. adrian910ss (2591) - Doylestown, PA, USA - JAN 1, 2012
12 oz bottle. Pours a deep clear amber with a medium sized frosty cream colored head. Aroma of mild tangy citrus, fresh hops, light pine and bread malts. Taste of lightly malty citrus, fresh hops, light pine notes and hints of bread.

12oz bottle. Poured a dark amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, juicy oranges, floral hops and pine. Tastes of citrus, floral, and a touch of toasted caramel. JFURYCAT (1078) - East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 28, 2011
Lovely dipa with a heavy citrus nose with a touch of alcohol burning that is well hidden in the flavor which is dominated by the simcoes and the nuggets enveloped in a medium wet body. Malt factor not really here except for some tea-like tones in the palatte. Make this a regular troegs!!!! Chipper (303) - Red Lion, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 28, 2011
Deep amber pour with a moderate white head. Considerable lacing. Huge hops, citrus, and some pine aroma. Flavor is super smooth, bitter, and very drinkable. Excellent.
