Bottle, courtesy tpd975. Pours a hazy caramel color, with a fizzy white head and wet ring of lacing on the glass. Nose of dark ripe fruit, chocolate, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, some apple and zest. Flavor is creamy chocolate and caramel, some slight roast, wheat and very smooth flavors throughout the beer. Very full-bodied, creamy. Tons of flavor, and nicely balanced. blankboy (7884) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 10, 2009
My bottle (12oz) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- courtesy of TheEpeeist. Pours a hazy orange-amber with an average size diminishing frothy off-white head. Aroma of yeast, dark fruit, spices, some toasted malt and some alcohol. Flavour of dark fruit, caramel malt, spices, some hops and alcohol. Medium bodied. Pretty good. Bottle (12oz). Shared by blankboy with me and garthicus. Clear deep amber pour with a smallish frothy head. Sweet medium-roast malt aroma, with a hint of oil-based paint and floral bitterness. The taste was frankly odd - not bad, but all over the place - like apple jack, cocoa, marigolds and alcohol. Light-bodied and still, noticeably astringent, with a pungently floral/bitter finish - not a bad brew, but a tad weak.

Shared kindly by Blankboy with HogTownHarry and I. Dark caramel, cloudy body with a smallish off white head. Aroma: Winter fruit, slight alcohol, cinnamon, cherries, spices. Nice. Flavour: Dark fruit again, caramel, spices, quite sweet. Long spicy finish. Very good. dchmela (3088) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JAN 14, 2009
Bottle thanks to McBackus. Pours a dark reddish brown with almost no head. Sweet malt, banana and clove in the aroma. Taste is malty sweet with a nice balance of fruit, pepper spice and clove. A very unique tasting beer and very good. douglas88 (9797) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 13, 2009
Bottle thanks to goldtwins. This was a case where I drank this beer with no expectations or knowledge, hell, I thought it was a Belgian after a few tastes. What a surprise. Pours a very cloudy and particulate filled brown color with a small head. The aroma is mostly spices and some fruit. The taste was awesome; fruity, spicy, loads of malt and not too sweet or spicy. Excellent. Very fruity and extremely cloudy. A excellent brew. Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 6, 2009
Pours mahogany with a thin tan head. Smells of clove, bananas, sweet wheat. Tastes sweet and well balanced with a nice spicy element on the finish. xpimptastikx (103) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 7, 2008
Bottle thanks to lb4lb. Pours cloudy dark amber with a light off white head. The bananas and clove come through with the white wheat, but with lovely bits of malty-ness.
